Welcome to Community Education Trust

CET is an educational charity operating throughout Greater Reading. Its prime aim is to help the local community to help itself and become self-reliant. It aims to promote education and achieve its objectives through awareness and educational activities and campaigns. Its motto is to ‘Seek Knowledge From The Cradle To The Grave.’

One of its main activity, CET Supplementary Saturday school, aims to boost children’s educational attainment levels, develop their self-esteem and help them to become active contributors to society.

The school achieves this by providing free supplementary lessons in English, Maths and Science, organising trips and encouraging participation in extra-curricular activities through the school, promoting good citizenship and enhancing parental self-reliance.

Established since 2005, the school has helped to support more than 1000 children to date, with great success in their academic attainments and self-confidence.
